Choosing the Right Package

Buy it Local.US offers several listing plans. They all put your business in front of local customers. The difference is how much you can show and sell from your page. This article explains what each plan does in plain language so you can pick with confidence.

The Short Version

Basic Free is right if you mainly want to be findable and have a working phone number, map, and website link.
Growth is right if you want to actively market from your listing with offers, events, photos, videos, and quote requests.
Brand Plus is right if you do not have your own website and want your listing to act like one.

Basic Free

This is a real listing, not a trial. It gives customers the essentials they need to reach you.

Business name, phone number, and map location
Website link
Logo and images
A formatted description of your business
A contact form so visitors can message you

Choose this if: you are new to the directory, you already have a strong website, or you simply want a presence without a decision to make right now. You can upgrade later without losing anything you have entered.

Growth Package

This plan turns your listing from a phone book entry into a marketing page. It includes everything in the free plan, plus tools that give visitors something to act on.

Special offers and coupons that appear on the directory offers page, not just your own listing
Events you host, promoted on the directory events calendar
Selling offers and products, so customers can order directly from your page
Quote requests, which is often the single most useful feature for service businesses
Videos, project galleries, and audio clips
Menu or price list for restaurants, salons, and service businesses
Testimonials and customer reviews
Business team profiles, memberships, certifications, and attachments such as brochures
Opening hours, social network links, and other locations
Eligibility to be a featured listing and to run featured offers

Choose this if: you want the directory to bring you leads rather than just credibility. If you run seasonal promotions, host events, or quote jobs, this plan pays for itself quickly.

Brand Plus Package

Everything in Growth, plus branding options for domain forwarding. In practice, this means you can point your own domain name at your listing and the page behaves like your own website.

Choose this if: you do not have a website and do not want to build or maintain one. Instead of paying for hosting, a builder subscription, and a designer, your directory listing becomes your web presence, and it is already optimized to show up in local searches.

How to Decide

Ask yourself three questions.

Do I need customers to be able to do something on the page? Book, order, request a quote, claim a coupon. If yes, you need Growth or Brand Plus.
Do I already have a website I am happy with? If yes, Basic Free or Growth is enough. If no, look hard at Brand Plus.
Do I run promotions or events during the year? If yes, the offers and events tools alone justify a paid plan.

Changing Your Mind Later

There are no lock in contracts. You can upgrade, downgrade, or choose not to renew at any time. Upgrading is the easiest path, because your existing listing content stays exactly as it is and the additional features simply unlock.

If you downgrade, features that are not part of the lower plan will stop showing publicly, but your content is not deleted. Upgrade again and it reappears.

A Note on Renewals

Paid plans run for one year. We send a reminder email before your listing expires so you are never surprised. You can see your expiry date at any time in My Business.
